Visual Risk Technologies provides a variety of training services to clients. Our offerings include:

VRiskMAP™ Training – During VRiskMAP™ training, we focus on teaching and developing the basic skills necessary to create maps, define hazard impact areas, produce reports of critical locations and JPEG maps for printing and distributing.  We allocate time to work with locally produced databases or to develop new databases required by the organization.

Advanced Training – For our experienced users we offer customized advanced training that focuses on the many advanced features in VRiskMAP™.  This advanced training is usually performed within the context of the user’s specific application area – emergency management, transportation routing, business continuity, etc.

Refresher and Product Update Training – We offer refresher and product update training programs to users. We arrange these sessions to suit the needs of the organizations involved.  These sessions typically focus on a review of basic VRiskMAP™ functionality as well as a focus on new product features. 

MitigationPlan.com Training – We do all MitigationPlan.com training directly at the website, so that we create the actual plan as the user learns to navigate the system.  As the user learns to use the Web site, we enter current data about the community, hazards and the mitigation goals and projects.  At the end of the training, we print a plan to share with others and we begin the public participation process.  We train mitigation planners to become trainers within their jurisdictions.  We conduct these train-the-trainer sessions directly at the website with emphasis placed on using the tools and functionality of the web site so that the emergency manager can create a plan at a later time.
